The Professional Photo, Film, TV and Personal Stylist's course offered by the British College of Professional Styling is very comprehensive.
As the course is delivered online and self-paced, I could fit my coursework in between my busy life as a mum of two.
The course tutorials take you through the industry, step by step, from substantive information about fashion to its history and on to the practical elements, like wardrobe assessment and colour analysis.
The assignments are a great test for creativity and practice for future projects with potential clients. While working on assignments, I have learned what areas of styling I am the most passionate about.
Thanks to my personal tutor's positive and engaging support, even as a beginner stylist, I feel confident to start my new professional journey in the styling industry, focusing on colour analysis and magazine photoshoots.
