After two months I was promoted to Personal Shopper and quickly gained valuable feedback and recommendations from customers after our one-on-one styling sessions.

When I decided to change my career path and start working in fashion as a stylist, I knew I need both, theoretical and practical knowledge. Back then, I was looking for a course that gave me flexibility to combine work and study at the same time and be packed with valuable information about the industry, trends, how to manage your business, etc.

After spending time researching courses, I found that the British College of Professional Styling was exactly what I was looking for. So, I signed up and waited for the first tutorial to be emailed to me. Yes, emailed to me! This course is so flexible, you can choose how often your studying tutorials will be sent out to you and what is the most important, you can manage your self-studying time in the most convenient way as there is no pressure. You can always come back to it later, and complete accompanied assignments when is best for you.

Last year I started my first role in fashion retail as a sales consultant. While I was developing my styling skills within the course, my manager noticed that I was very good at helping out customers proving styling tips, matching colours and teaching my work colleagues how to approach customers. After two months I was promoted to Personal Shopper and quickly gained valuable feedback and recommendations from customers after our one-on-one styling sessions. I have made my first investment and bought Colour Analysis Face Frame Set in order to get more practice while matching colours to friends and family at first. That was one of my favourite tutorials about the colours and the importance of finding the right ones matching towards individual needs.

The Professional Photo, Film, TV and Personal Stylist’s Course is full of practical information and styling tips shared by industry professionals from different fashion-related roles. I have always loved helping people feel attractive while enjoying what they wear and becoming more confident. Combining everyday experience from retail work and knowledge from this course, I definitely became more aware of how I can become a great stylist for my customers as well as how I can set up my own business. At the moment, this is my priority and I am constantly working towards it. I am really glad I choose this course and I would highly recommend to everyone interested in fashion and looking to start or a change career path.
