I always wanted to be a personal stylist. I have a great passion for fashion and have admired stylists all over the world from Monica Rose to Rachel Zoe. So I decided to enrol in The Photo, Film, TV & Personal Stylist’s Course with the British College of Professional Styling. It was something that I had wanted to do for a very long time and the online course gave me the freedom and flexibility to do it at my own pace, with no pressure, and from the comfort of my own home.
This course not only gave me an in-depth knowledge in styling, but a career for life. It is career that I have wanted for several years and now I finally have the skills and knowledge to fulfil my dream job. With my hard work and passion I know I will be a successful stylist.
Since graduating from the course, I have gained a steady few clients which have really kick-started my career and given me the confidence to even host my first styling event which was a great success. I would love to host more events in the future and be involved in fashion shows.
Setting up my website was one of the most enjoyable course assignments and I am super proud of it. I am constantly updating it as I am a little bit of a perfectionist and I like to refresh it every so often to keep it interesting.
I have been a stylist for a while now and recently decided to join a styling company called The Image Consulting Company. They operate all over the southwest with a great team of stylists that work really well together, supporting each other and sharing the workload. I was welcomed to the team straight away and felt like a member instantly. I am really excited to see where my journey with The Image Consulting Company takes me.
As for the future – I will gain more confidence, accumulate more clients and plan to be more involved in events. Taking this course with the British College of Professional Styling is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had so much support from my tutor and the College staff all the way through my studies which gave me great confidence to give 100%, allowing me to graduate with ease.
